DIY Courses in Withernsea, Hull and Beverley

If you live in or around Withernsea and want to learn a practical trade skill, DIY Training runs short, hands-on courses at Redhouse Farm, Withernsea (HU19). We welcome homeowners from Hornsea, Hull, Beverley, Bridlington and the surrounding areas.

Every course is taught in small groups of up to 6, so you get real time with the tools and direct feedback from an instructor with over 40 years' experience in the trades.

What You Can Learn

• Plumbing: Bathroom Fitting, a 3-day course covering layout, pipework, fitting and testing
• Plastering, a 3-day course, or a 5-day option that includes boarding
• DIY Electrics, a half-day evening session from 6pm to 9pm covering safe electrical basics at home

Why Learn Locally?

A local workshop means less travelling, face-to-face answers to your questions and practice on real materials instead of watching a video. All tools and materials are supplied for the training, and tea and coffee are provided.

Who the Courses Are For

The courses suit homeowners and DIYers who want to tackle jobs around the house with confidence, and to know when a job should be handed to a qualified tradesperson. There is no paperwork, just practical workshops.

Courses and Dates

The next dates are: DIY Electrics evening course, Monday 23 November 2026; Plumbing: Bathroom Fitting, Monday 14 to Wednesday 16 December 2026; and Plastering, Monday 11 to Wednesday 13 January 2027. Prices and Getting Here
